There are plenty of people to take care of dogs. But how many people really understand the needs of your cat? I have developed an intuitive sense of cat psychology. I know when to be friendly, and when to be patient. I know precisely when a cat no longer wants to be petted. I will respect your cat's individual needs and wishes to the utmost. I've been surrounded by cats my whole life, usually adopting one or two at a time. I can administer medication: I find liquid medicine on wet food, or the use of Pill Pockets, most effective. I have experience with subcutaneous injections, insulin shots, and asthma inhalers for cats. I am also great with backyard chickens! I would be happy to take care of small caged pets such as hamsters, guinea pigs, lizards, birds, and fish. As part of each sit, I provide house-sitting services, such as gathering mail and deliveries, watering select plants, and security checks. Each visit lasts between 15-25 minutes, depending on the number, needs, and mood of the cat(s). $5/visit distance charge will be added to locations north of 280 or east of 87. **COVID UPDATE** I am always fully vaccinated against COVID and flu. I have always made it standard practice to thoroughly wash my hands before/after every sit, and after cleaning the litter box, to reduce cat-to-cat contamination.
